The Gio Marble Platter in white is made from Banswara marble. This stunning marble originates from the Banswara Village in Rajasthan, India & originally became popular due to its affordability & close resemblance to its Italian counterpart, Cararra White Marble. The 3 marble sphere bases of the platter are made on a turning machine & hand polished to bring out the beautiful bright shine. Natural variations will always occur & each piece is unique. The Gio Platter is foodsafe, however due to the natural elements of marble, liquids & oils can absorb quickly, leaving permanent marks so protect from heat & avoid direct contact with liquids & oils.
